Vero Beach Wins Tri-Match
Vero Beach defeated Sebastian River and South Fork at Vero Beach Country Club on a beautiful afternoon for golf. Kendall Hedgecock led the Lady Golfers with a 3 over par, 39 followed by freshman Jackie Steils's 42 ... a personal best score for Jackie. Brittany Soucek posted a 45, who played every hole to 1 over. Another freshman, Cassidy Stepanek, rounded out the scoring with a 47. In the intra-squad qualifier, Marilyn Moore defeated Megan Thomas in the first playoff hole, after both posting 49's.
