Vero Beach High School Golfer Kendall Hedgecock Records Double-Eagle

Vero Beach High School Golfer Kendall Hedgecock hit a 7-iron from 155 yards out on the number 14th hole Par 5 at Vero Beach Country Club to record her first double-eagle. Her tee-shot was striped 280 yards leaving her a 7-iron second shot. The Vero Beach Golf team was playing an 18-hole qualifying round for team selection. The shot was witnessed by her playing partners Annabelle Campbell, Brittany Soucek and her parents Donna and Randy Hedgecock. The attached photo shows Kendall reaching into the hole to retrieve her record setting Titleist Pro V1 ball, ironically a ball her father had given her with his name on it. Annabelle Campbell watches as Kendall pulls her ball out of the hole.
